PROFILE

Ms. Lida Sara Nouraie works exclusively in the field of criminal and penal law. Through the years, Ms. Nouraie has gained important experience before all courts in relation to criminal and penal accusations of various types.

As such, she has received recognition on multiple occasions from Lexpert, the Quebec Criminal Defence Lawyers Association (AQAAD), the Montreal Criminal Defence lawyers Association (AADM), the Young Bar Association of Montreal (YBAM) and the Young Chamber of Commerce of Montreal.

Over the last few years years, Ms. Nouraie has appeared 9 times before the Supreme Court of Canada. She has also been deeply involved in mega-trials and crimes against the person files (including homicides and sexual assaults).

Since the beginning of her mandate, Ms. Nouraie intervened on hundreds of occasions to inform women of their rights in prison, and their civil rights in general.
